Is this a tribute to the Hats Off! gala at the Plymouth Center for the Arts – congrats to the Plimoth Cinema team for a job well done. OR….is this the crazieness that comes when there’s a wedding in the house. Although it was a ‘pilgrim’ wedding and not a real one, you go through so many of the same motions, that it feels like a real wedding – running around, worrying that everyone has a good seat (or in this case, view),and then there’s the food… It turns out we did have enough wedding cake. I’ll be making leftover wedding cake/bread pudding soon. No sooner is the wedding done then it’s time to plot out Something Fishy, our fish themed July programs.

Actually this is me holding onto all the women’s hats so that they can do their pilgrim braids to put under their pilgrim coifs. It’s a morning ritual of sorts. Then we had a whole discussion on the book “Hats for Sale” and wondered for the longest time how the hat man got the hats back from the monkeys. We in the end got our answer from Anna that the man threw down his hat and the monkeys did the same.

Did you say wedding cake bread pudding? YUM!
