The Riven Word

We are Plimoth Plantation’s Interpretive Artisans Department, and we are the people who research, build, maintain, and interpret all the structures in the 17th Century English (Pilgrim) Village.

It’s the way you ride the trail that counts

September 10th, 2012 by Rick McKee

Someone in our department is celebrating their last charcoal burn as a Plimoth Plantation employee.

Good friend and artisan/blacksmith Alex Bandazian is going back to school to study industrial design. We find that uber-cool, and hope that one day we’ll be holding ergonomic tricorders designed by Bandit! Remember fondly your days making 10,000 nails for a single door, Alex.

Happy Trails, Pilgrim!
